The New Regime is a California based band headed up by Ilan Rubin, former drummer of Nine Inch Nails….as well as the current drummer for Angels & Airwaves.
As an apparent key figure in the band, Rubin is the only member listed via their website and/or Facebook page, although it seems I read somewhere that the bass player is also a “Rubin,” but the information is elusive, at best.
Rubin has released three The New Regime albums thus far. “Coup” was recorded throughout 2007 and 2008 and “Speak Through the White Noise,” was released in 2011. Finally, this year, “Hear,” as the first installment of the album Heart Mind Body & Soul. Each four-song installment.
The band is currently on tour with Angels & Airwaves that will continue toward the end of 2019. Catch them in a city near you.
