Hometown heroes The Davisson Brothers performed a socially responsible, safe-at-distance, Drive-In Concert on June 13 at The Sunset Drive-In, located in Shinnston, West Virginia.
This makes The Davisson Brothers Band the second country artist to have a show at an old school drive-in theater, following Keith Urban’s concert last night for front line workers outside of his home base of Nashville, Tennessee. The announcement also makes the band the first country artist to announce a drive-in concert outside of the state of Texas,
They were on the forefront of this concept and have a vast following in their home state. I had a chance to chat with them before the show about how the musical landscape has changed so drastically because of the pandemic
The Davidsson Brothers was one of the first acts in the country music genre to announce a drive-in show, which frankly is now the immediate future of the live music industry..
