Tim Skold put on a great show at The Winchester Concert Club in Lakewood, Ohio on July 11, 2023. The Swedish multi-instrumentalist and producer, best known for his work with industrial metal bands like Marilyn Manson and KMFDM, played a set of his solo material as well as some covers.
Skold’s music is a mix of industrial, electronic, and rock, and his live show was a perfect representation of that. In the past, Tim Skold would have played on a variety of instruments, including guitar, bass, and keyboards, but this time through he had a very talented crew with him!

In the off chance you are unaware of Psyclon Nine, and or Nero Bellum’s other band and various other solo works, it was a mind-blowing surprise to see him on keyboards! Nero is an amazing performer, and this stop in Cleveland was no different!
The setlist was a mix of old and new, with fan favorites like “Godlike” and “Death Dies” being interspersed with tracks from his latest album, The Mechanical Soul. Skold’s vocals were powerful and intense, and his guitar work was nothing shy of mythical.
The crowd was smaller than I had hoped for, being a club show for Tim Skold, but those in attendance were having a great time. Everyone was singing along and dancing, and the energy level was high throughout the entire show.
