Nav at the Aragon has been one of the shows that’s it’s something worth going to. The last time he was in Chicago was about 4 years ago and he talked about his show. His show being at the Aragon ballroom meant that his following got popular, and more music is getting to more listeners.
A couple of artists who joined his tour were Realestk who’s on Nav’s XO record label and Sofaygo. Realestk was the first opener, and his set was good. His melodic vibe had the fans relaxed his set went for about 15 or 20 minutes. He’s something to keep on the lookout for soon. Next up is Sofaygo an artist who’s has very hype songs. His energy with the crowd was up there and it was the right tone to have before Nav came out. It was up and down throughout his set, and it looked like at times he lost the crowd’s attention. He ended his seat on a good note and it was a big round of applause for him before he got off the stage. Now it’s time for the closer and he closed it the right way. When the beat dropped, the crowd erupted and when he came out. The first song was called No Sleep and the crowd knew it word for word. He also came down on the floor and greeted his fans which was a great gesture, and most artists don’t do that. It wasn’t a sold-out audience, but he still managed to have a great turnout. His lighting was very dark with bright lights in the background, but it looked like it fit his persona. He mainly performed songs off the new album then did some old songs off his previous albums. Overall, his show was nice and fan base is rapidly growing. Keep on the lookout in other cities on the Never Sleep tour.
