What’s my upbringing?
I graduate it high school back in 2007. However, I don’t have any type of music education. I can say I am self-taught. I have a lot of a lot to bring to the table I am really creative and love writing song and Spanish and English in any genre.
How did I discover music?
I was seven years old and my mom always used to play Spanish music on the radio but she never told me it was music. Later on, I found out it was music in art class.
How did I start writing music?
Not so long ago, probably like 6 years ago and at the time I was dating my ex-partner. I always wanted to do something special for him so I decided to barrow my friend’s guitar I remember I did not know a thing about writing but I recorded myself and wrote him a song and ever since that day I been writing music.
How can describe my music?
I can describe my music as unique, ordinary and special.
How was your first performance like?
I did not have one yet. I hope soon, before the winter of 2021.
What was the first tittle of my first song? Did I record it?
The tittle of the first song I wrote was “nobody knows “. Yes, I did record it but I never launch it out to the public or the media.
Tell me about your song “ Una vez más”
Una vez más is a special song to me. I wrote it after going through hard times in my life and love. I think a lot of people can relate to this song and feel the magic of love and music.
What is my favorite track I ever recorded?
My favorite track that I ever recorded has to be “ Solo pido” I was with my friend and we had a blast.
How is your album lost coming along?
Good so far! People seem to like it, enjoy it and that’s what matters!
What did you mean by “be yourself and not like everyone else?
A lot of people care what others have to say and even give them power to those around them. I had a friend who was scared to be herself because she cared to much what people thought about her. She was scared to be herself; she was gay and was scared to come out to the public because she did not wanted people to look at her differently. So, I made her a video to encourage her to be herself and have self-confidence to be who she really is! She cannot be like everyone else she has to be her own self. I hope I helped her with the video I made her.
Any plans for tour?
I hope I will go for tour by next year. I am so excited.
What past song is in your mind right now? And what this song means to u?
One song in my mind right now has to be “ más grande que grande “from Ednita Nazario. This song talks about love been a poison and how pure it is more pure then our own feelings. This song reminds me the power of love and I should not give up in love.
How u think Covid 19 is going to affect music?
I think is already affecting the music industry a lot of musicians had to cancel their concerts and tours. Nobody knows what could happen or how everything is going to end after all this pandemic finishes. I just hope I hope it does not affect it too much.
What I been doing during this quarantine?
I been helping my elderly mother, exercising and making music.
Have I discovered any new hobbies?
Not really, I wish I did!
Have a developed a beauty product?
No at all I just made a video reviewing beauty product on YouTube. I love connecting with people and I wanted to give my feedback on the beauty products I use.
Is coast to coast still happening?
Unfortunately, I had a family emergency and I was not able to participate in the competition.
With social distant been the norm do you think festival are going to be close for the next few years?
Yes, I think festivals are going to be on hold for at least at a year. I also think is important that we take the right procedures to stay safe. A lot of people have died because of this virus and even if we have to stop performing, we have to make the sacrifice because is the best for us and the fans.
What bout holographic concerts in the living room?
That is something we can do now; it’s been a chaos lately and the less thing we want for our fans is to go out to a stadium where they can get infected with this disease.
How do I see myself in five years?
I see myself in five years with better music recording equipment and with more repertoire to heal people with music. I also, see my self been more stablish in this industry.
