Katy Perry will be performing in Chicago on October 24 & 25, 2017 at the United Center for her Witness: The Tour concert shows. It will be a special day to have Katy in Chicago on October 25th- it’s her birthday and Chicago gets to celebrate with her! Katy released her new album on June 9, her singles released thus far – the Platinum-certified “Chained to the Rhythm” featuring Skip Marley and the follow-up single, “Bon Appétit” featuring Migos – reveal the breadth of the musical and thematic elements found on Witness.
Katy’s Witness Tour will last a year, with a few months break in late winter 2018, and has her performing throughout the U.S. with a couple dates in Vancouver, BC, Canada. In the spring of 2018 she then moves on to Europe, UK, Australia and New Zealand.
Now an acclaimed singer worldwide this California native had her musical start at a gospel revival as a teenager. Katy’s musical career didn’t take off until she signed with Capitol in 2007 and released her “I Kissed a Girl” single in 2008. Her Teenage Dream album released in 2010 included Billboard Hot 100 List hits; California Gurls, Teenage Dream and Firework.
Katy’s admirable work includes support of human and gay rights, as well as campaigning for the 1st female presidential candidate in 2016. Her musical talent and amazing multimedia concerts guarantee a dazzling evening at any of her shows
