Coren McLeod Sits Down with Maddox (Bass Player} of the Amazing Band Messer at Rochause on October 11th, 2018
Thursday nights seem to be dedicated to going out and catching a great live show. I mean, after all, the term #ThirstyThursday came about for a reason. Would you agree?
With all of life’s hardships, let downs and just basic crape happening, it is a relief to catch a great show before the weekend officially starts. I had the pleasure of once again heading to West Dundee’s own phenomenal venue Rochaus. This time around it was to interview Texas’ own band, Messer.
Since the release self-titled album which dropped on 4/20/2018, the band has been hitting the chats with a force and touring with great artists. Messer is making a huge name for themselves with a fierce attitude towards the music industry. With their song “Save Yourself” making its way up the Top Chats and a spectacular follow up to the single, “Make This Life,” Messer is the only truly independent band to reach the Top 25 in 2018.
Currently on the road with Royal Bliss and Joyous Wolf, I had the great pleasure of sitting down with Maddox, the supreme bass player of Messer, in the “Prince” room at Rochaus and talk to him about being on the road, their current success, tattoos, horoscope signs and the possibility of a zombie apocalypse should happen…
