I Prevail

Aragon Ballroom, Chicago, IL

The Michigan group I Prevail sold out our Aragon Ballroom this Sunday alongside Pierce the Veil, Fit for a King, and Yours Truly but for those of us who recognize at least one of these names it isn’t surprising. Aragon’s sound system brought I Prevails new album “True Power” to life with a studio-like live performance.
A clear mix between the instruments and vocals put the crowd deep in the moment resulting in intense mosh pits, massive sing along, and applauses from the front to the back of the house. Pierce the Veil, Fit for a King, and Yours Truly all did the same thing with their catalogs and delivered an incredible night. This tour’s lighting and stage production crews deserve praise. The visual effects of lights and fog machines brought all of the act’s performances to a different level. Whether in the mosh pits, around them, against the back wall, or on the balcony, this massive crowd seemed to enjoy the show all around.
The dense crowd did cause a few people to be pulled from the crowd due to the heat. The ones I saw seemed to recover quickly and stayed to enjoy the rest of the show from the back of the crowd. Kudo’s to this Live Nation team for being so quick to spot people who needed assistance. All in all this was an amazing show that wont be forgotten. If you get a chance to see the True Power tour it is highly recommended.
