Bourbon & Beyond 2017 – a perfect blend of bourbon, food, and music – A review
Champions Park, Louisville, KY, USA, September 23 and 24 2017
By Dan Locke
Bourbon Beyond took place, the second last weekend of September 2017. It was a two-day fill of fun bourbon drinking, eating food and listen to some good music. The lineup was a stella lineup from artists, from the 60s up to present days, which included Paul Rodgers, Stevie Nicks, Joe Bonamassa, Steve Miller, Eddie Vedder. It took place in Champions Park in Louisville, KY and it was set up like any typical Fest. There were three stages with a chef’s stage being one of the stages, and other to stages were basically music stages. But walking around, I saw the average age of the crowd was about 50. This was very interesting, because a lot older people are big bourbon drinkers. One of the nicest thing was have parking set up for people with handicap down by the Water Tower. In which there was a van waiting for you. And then the van would take you to the front entrance and at the end of the day they would take you back to your car. A very nice setup.
